Handlebar Clamp Bolt Attachment - Explained

The Ultimateaddons handlebar clamp bolt attachment is one of the neatest mounting solutions that Ultimateaddons offer.  This attachment is compatible with a wide range of motorcycles from cruisers to supermotos, all you need is to have access to replace one of your original handlebar clamp bolts. 

Having a mounting point on your motorcycle gives you a lot of possibilities from mounting an action camera to record your trip.  You can use the attachment to mount a dedicated motorcycle GPS or to mount your Smartphone or even a radar detector.   

Ultimateaddons offer the the handlebar clamp bolt in various sizes:

  • M6
  • M8 
  • M10

Please note that the supplied bolt lengths are approx: 55/60/65mm, once you attach the 1" ball attachment to the screw head the thread length that will go into the handlebars are approx: 27/32/37mm

 

Handlebar Clamp Bolt Attachment 

First thing is to locate one of your existing handlebar clamp bolts. Remove the bolt and take two measurements, the Diameter of the bolt will indicate if it is M6 (6mm) M8 (8mm) and M10 (10mm).  The second measurement is the length of the bolt the supplied bolt lengths are approx: 55/60/65mm, once you attach the 1" ball attachment to the screw head the thread length that will go into the handlebars are approx: 27/32/37mm.

 

 

Once Attached 

Now that you have a 25mm ball attachment you have a wide choice of products that you can now attach to your motorcycle.  As the handlebar clamp bolt attachment has the 25mm / 1" ball head you can also connect the 3" extender to give you freedom with positioning.
